While this issue contains interviews and articles from across the globe, we chose to feature several editorials on Miami as we feel that the city is now at a critical point. With the construction boom in the past and the financial crisis remaining very much in the present, the city is still dealing with some serious issues. However, there are encouraging signs. If Miami is able to recover now, it will be one of the first major urban centers to do so and its architects and designers are ready to move forward.
