1450 Brickell Architectural Tour
Presented by AIA Miami and Design Book Magazine
On July 23, 2009, AIA Miami, and Design Book Magazine hosted an architectural tour of 1450 Brickell. This 35-story, 586,000 square-foot tower is developed by the Rilea Group and is downtown Miami's first pre-certified LEED Gold 'class-A' office building. The structure features one of the strongest glass facades of any commercial building in the nation.
Architect Bruce Brosch of Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates and Tere Blanca and Danet Linares of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, Inc headed the tour along with interior designer Jorge Bernal from RTKL.
Due to overwhelming interest, the event was fully booked shortly after it was announced. Those in attendance included architects, interior designers, the 1450 Brickel project team and the media.
