Deena Bell Llewellyn holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from the School of Environment and Design at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

Bell Llewellyn began her professional career in 1991 at the firm Susan Hall and Associates, Landscape Architects in Coral Gables, Florida. In 1996, she earned her professional license and became a registered landscape architect.

Deena Bell Llewellyn is the President of Bell + Aqüi Landscape Architecture and runs the company with partner Lewis Aqüi. She is a pioneer of the green building movement in South Florida and has earned the designation of LEED AP in 2009.

Bell Llewellyn is an active member of the Dade Heritage Trust, and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
